Press Conference Urges Action Against Inhumane Dog Culling In Lahore
After a peaceful animal rights protest in Lahore against illegal dog culling, we held a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, organised by Altamush Saeed.
The discussion focused on the growing issue of inhumane dog culling in the city and the need to properly implement the 2021 Animal Birth Control Policy.
We stressed the importance of humane, science-based solutions like TNVR (Trap, Neuter/Spay, Vaccinate, Tag and Release) to manage the stray dog population.
It is our duty to ensure that Pakistan’s non-human citizens are not subjected to cruelty, but instead protected, making the country safer for them.
Update on TNVR project in DHA Phase 8
Our TNVR project in DHA Phase 8, Ex Park View area is moving forward with full support from the authorities and great assistance from the Crazy Cats Project team.
Today, we released a few dogs that were previously caught. These dogs have now been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tagged, so they can no longer contribute to the dog population.
After releasing them, we also caught some more dogs to go through the same process.
Although it will take time, our goal is to neuter, spay, vaccinate, and tag all dogs in this area as soon as possible.
This is the only ethical way to control the population and permanently end dog culling.
Through Fog And Smog, We Keep Going.
Through thick fog and smog, we ensure that our Jaandar family never sleeps hungry.
